Living Rooms for Living, at Skene House, Aberdeen

One Size does not Fit All at Skene House in Aberdeen. You’re an individual, and our suites and apartments are as unique as you are.

We believe that life is for living, and cramming our guests into a hotel room just isn’t our style.  We offer one bedroom suites, and two and three bedroom apartments, each with their own furnished kitchen and living room. We give you space to live! Space to work, rest and play.

The living room is where life happens; relaxing, watching TV, doing yoga, fighting with your younger sibling, working – whatever floats your boat. This is the space that allows you to be you.

So, without further ado, here are some of our lush living rooms – get ready to make yourself at home.

Fresh, Contemporary Vibe

A Duplex a Skene House Rosemount

The one bedroom apartment pictured above is slick and smart. With living space and a kitchen on the ground floor, and the double bed upstairs on the mezzanine level, it offers contemporary living for a couple to share, or an individual to indulge in. With its eye-catching spiral staircase this suite is one of our Rosemount favourites.

Overall Skene House Rosemount boasts ten modern duplexes. The spacious two bedroom apartment above nails it for us, with its airy, bright living room and ample mezzanine living space. It works for families, couples or individuals- a fantastic apartment right in the heart of the city.

Made for Monochrome

Black and white is a timeless palette, offering guests fuss-free surroundings in which to unwind or entertain. Featuring black and white check above, or slick bold black below, this is a palette that we keep coming back to. We’re talking smart but relaxed city living – why choose a hotel room when you can choose an apartment?

Finally, consider these muted grey shades below, with a sculptural lamp, for clean lines and minimalist calm. We love a bit of Marie Kondo simplicity.

Home Comforts

For a more homely, traditional look, consider our comfortable apartments in Skene House Whitehall, which provides long stay accommodation of thirty nights or more. With striped textiles, large indulgent armchairs and sofas, thick rich curtains and rural artworks on the walls, you’ll feel at home for the duration of your stay.

We have similar apartments in Skene House Holburn bedecked with a subtle floral motif, or discover suites with a splash of colour. So if minimalism isn’t your scene, and you enjoy your textiles, your prints and your paintings then we can book the best apartment to suit your tastes.
