Skene House Rental Flats in Aberdeen: How our Flats Suit your Lifestyle – If you’re seeking a new flat to call home Skene House has 74 quality one, two or three bedroom apartments for rent in three city and west end locations. We’ve talked about their great locations in this article here, we’ve highlighted why you can trust the Skene House name and brand here, but prospective tenants also need to know how our flats can fit around your lifestyle.
Whether you work from home or love cooking, need to park your car or require good public transport links, we have the apartment for you. We’ll happily add or remove furniture to make your flat a home. Usually prospective tenants view flats on a take it or leave it basis. Skene House can show you several flats in one area, with different layouts and configurations to suit you, and we can mix or move furniture as required.
Many of us have had to work from home over the last few months and may continue to do so for some time. We can ensure that a desk is provided in any apartment you’re attracted to. Another option is to consider a 2-bedroom flat, and set up a home office in the second bedroom – we can remove the bedroom furniture, and provide a desk and chair as requested. People’s lives and working environments are changing, and we work with our tenants to create the ‘new normal’ that they now require.
Many people come to the big city for adventure, not to stay at home cooking, so if you’re not a keen cook then we have flats where the kitchen takes up a minimal footprint giving you more space for living. Why spend money on a large dining kitchen when you can invest in greater space for hanging out or entertaining?
On the other hand, if you enjoy cooking, lovingly preparing meals to suit your dietary requirements, or enjoy dining with friends and family, then each flat has a dining table (and we can add extra chairs for your companions), so whether you’re cooking for yourself, ordering take out or entertaining you’ll have space to dine in comfort.
Let us know what lifestyle suits you – larger flats have dining kitchens, several have separate dining rooms and most have living room/diners.
Renting a flat on the top floor is one option! Or again, that second or third bedroom could be set up as a home gym. We can remove the furniture if required so you can set up your gym kit and equipment there instead. If you like living in close proximity to a gym, then our Union Grove flats are minutes from Nuffield Health, which offers a swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi and sauna as well as a host of classes and equipment.
All our rental apartments are in the city centre with multiple options for public transport on the doorstep. Apartments on Union Grove are ideally place for easy access to Robert Gordon University and Gray’s School of Art, and there’s a bus service to Aberdeen University. Flats in the Whitehall and Rosemount area are handy for the city’s main shopping centres, the ferry terminal and railway station. They are also a good option for Cornhill hospital, and they’re close to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the Maternity Hospital.
The train and main bus station can be reached on foot from any of the Skene House properties. The ferry terminal is a longer walk or short cab ride away. The airport is roughly a twenty drive away, with the 727 bus operating out of the Bus Station.
On street car parking permits for our rental apartments are available through Aberdeen City Council. For the latest prices click here, but prices currently starts at £60 for 12 months, £33 for 6 months and £24 for three months.
Alternatively, Skene House has car parking spaces available for rent for the apartments at Baker Street, Rosemount Viaduct and Gilcomston Park. Please contact us on email@example.com for more details.
For a car share option check out Co Wheels. The nearest pick up point to our Union Grove flats is on Albyn Place, only 0.10 miles away.
